The mother of Real Madrid star Cristiano Ronaldo, Dolores Aveiro, has admitted that she attempted to have an abortion whilst pregnant with her son.
The revelation came after she published a book entitled ‘Mother Courage’ which was released in Portugal on Friday.
And she has revealed that she took a homemade recipe in a bid to rid herself of the infant after a doctor refused to help her terminate the pregnancy.
“I wanted to abort but the doctor didn’t support my decision,” she admits in the book.
